Cloud Integration — not currently offered
Paperly does not currently offer Google Drive or Dropbox integration. Every tool processes files 100% in your browser: you select a file from your device, Paperly works on it in memory, and you download the result. There is no account, no cloud storage and no upload endpoint.
📂 Google Drive & Dropbox
We deliberately do not connect to cloud storage services. Connecting them would require server-side OAuth flows, an accounts system and third-party SDKs — none of which we are willing to introduce. That would violate the core privacy promise: your documents never leave your device.
How you can still work with cloud files
Most browsers let you pick a file directly from your cloud storage in the file picker — Google Drive and Dropbox both appear as options in the native "Open file" dialog on many systems. Choose your file there and Paperly processes it locally. The result downloads to your device; you can then upload it back to your cloud with your normal sync app.
Why client-side only?
Unlike competitors that upload your files to their servers, Paperly keeps processing in your device's memory. No file bytes pass through Paperly's infrastructure. This guarantees privacy — even Paperly's operators cannot access your documents. Cloud accounts, OAuth and server-side sync are a deliberate non-goal, not an oversight.
